ROAD CLOSURES

Road closures continue due to blizzard conditions – WyDOT

Even though most roads around Southeast Wyoming are closed, our maintenance crews are still out keeping road surfaces as clear as possible so we can reopen the highways as soon as it’s safe to do so. This is I-80 at Telephone Canyon east of Laramie.

I-80 is still closed between West Omaha and Grand Island.

Troopers are reporting from the road that there are still people attempting to travel in this blizzard.

One just said, “I’ve never seen anything like this.”

Please stop. Wait it out. I-80 is still closed between West Omaha and Grand Island.
