A crash involving three semi-trucks blocked the westbound lanes of Interstate 94 near Black River Falls in Wisconsin Thursday morning.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the crash happened at about 12:20 a.m.
An initial investigation indicated an eastbound semi-truck crossed through the median and both westbound lanes of the interstate before coming to rest in the westbound ditch.
As it crossed the median, authorities said it struck the cable barrier and pulled the cables across the interstate.
The semi, which was carrying 60,000 pounds of large paper rolls, spilled over into the ditch.
Then, two semis traveling westbound on the interstate struck the cables.
Authorities said no one was hurt as a result of the incident.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Black River Falls Fire Department, and the Jackson County Highway Department assisted at the scene to remove the cables and clean up the road. The westbound side of the interstate reopened at about 3 a.m.
