Moderator Manual

Should you be selected as a Moderator for Truckers Wall of Shame® Social Network below are the rules and procedures you’re expected to follow.


Must be a member of the ‘Truckers Wall of Shame® Facebook group at all times.
Must be involved in the trucking industry. (wife, girlfriend, a family member of a truck driver).
Must never delete a post/comment without posting the evidence in the TWoS Deleted group.
Must never remove or block a member without Stacey Renea’s approval.
Must never remove, block or reject a member without posting the evidence in the TWoS Muted, TWoS Deleted or TWoS Block groups.


Each group and page have its own unique set of rules and it’s your responsibility to know the rules of the groups and pages that you moderate, abide by and enforce those rules whenever necessary, so take your time and learn the rules which can be found in the Community Guidelines and the moderator manual. Moderators can help admins with managing membership, reviewing posts and have most of the admin privileges with a few exceptions such as changing Group Settings and removing/blocking another admin or moderator.

Moderators have the ability to remove rule breaking content, mute, remove or ban members who have violated the community guidelines.

Moderator duties should be conducted with respect and dignity when a member is breaking a rule you should if necessary, delete the content and move on if the offender continues to post material that violates the community guidelines the offender will be muted. Each rule has a set punishment. You should mute them for the amount of time listed in the Truckers Wall of Shame Community Rules. Moderators of Truckers Wall Of Shame® Social Network, you’re expected to post evidence of all moderator actions taken with screenshots attached that show the exact content that warranted the action taken. Make sure to list the name of the member on the post so that we can search the group by name when needed.

If you see a post/comment breaking the rules and you are not able to screen-capture evidence, you should not take any action and alert another admin/moderator to the post if possible.


Moderators should always be respectful to each other and shouldn’t be afraid to question another Moderators action. But only within the TWoS Admin group. If you think someone wrongly deleted a post/comment or wrongly removed, banned or muted a member you should comment your reasoning on their evidence post or in the TWoS Admin group, so we can discuss it as a team.


Moderators should not use derogatory terms, insults or racial slurs, context will be taken into account, but if a Moderator is found and deemed to use any of the above in an abusive manner, they will face disciplinary actions or have their Moderator privileges revoked.

Moderators shouldn’t be found to be arguing excessively with members and using their moderator privileges in response.

No information in the TWoS Admin group should be discussed or leaked outside of the Group, TWoS Admin group is a private group for us to discuss moderation of the groups and is always to be kept private and confidential.


Muting a member is for when a member is breaking rules and isn’t cooperating with the Truckers Wall of Shame Community Rules.

Removing a member is reserved for when a member is consistently breaking rules, you should still not remove unless it’s repeated offenses within a short timeframe. Removal is a final warning and shouldn’t be issued lightly. Muting should be used instead of removing. All removals must be approved by Stacey Renea unless the offense is on our Auto-Ban list. Auto-Bans do not need permission, but you MUST post a screenshot of your evidence in the TWoS Blocked group. ATTENTION: If you remove or ban a member without permission from Stacey you will be banned as well!!

Banning a member is reserved for Auto-bans Only, such as driver recruiting, advertising, spam sunglasses advertisements etc. Racist posts/comments or mentioning a member’s children/family “in a negative way. Banning is a last resort and should only be issued for the reasons stated above or if the user has had multiple warning and already received a removal from the group.

Members complaints or Questions:

Refer all complaints and questions using the standard phrase: “Any complaints or inquiries should be directed to Stacey Renea”.


The following actions must not be taken unless evidence is provided:

Declining/Blocking a request to join
Deleting a post
Deleting a comment
Muting a member
Removing a member
Banning a member
Evidence required before performing any of the actions listed above must be a clear screen-capture of the rule they have broken, and the evidence must be posted in the TWoS Muted, Deleted or Blocked group.
