PARMA, Ohio, — One person was hurt in a Tuesday morning propane explosion at a trucking company in Parma, officials say.
The explosion happened about 11:30 a.m. at the ABF trucking company on Chevy Boulevard near Snow Road, Parma fire spokesman TJ Martin said.
Paramedics took the injured person to MetroHealth for treatment. Their current condition was not immediately available.
Propane tanks were being filled when one of them ignited, causing several others to explode, Martin said. Officials are working to determined how it ignited.
The fire is under control and crews remain on scene as of 12:45 p.m.
