AKRON, Ohio – A crash has closed I-76 eastbound at the East Avenue bridge Monday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
A semi hauling a large bulldozer was heading towards the East Avenue bridge when it slammed into the bridge because it was too tall, causing it to flip over, according to OSHP.
A passenger car then struck the bulldozer after it fell off the bed of the semi-truck trailer.
Troopers did not report any injuries in the two-vehicle crash.
The bulldozer is currently under the bridge. The East Avenue Bridge is closed for structure inspection.
