BAINBRIDGE, Ga. — Bainbridge Public Safety says a semi-truck driver has been arrested following a rollover crash early Monday morning.
BPS officers responded around 12:45 a.m. to the Highway 84 Bypass near the West Shotwell Street exit.
According to Captain Terry Pait, once the safety of the driver was secured, the scene was turned over to Georgia State Patrol. The Georgia Department of Transportation also responded to the call.
The truck driver escaped without injury but was arrested at the scene for driving with a suspended license and failure to maintain a lane.
Officials say portions of the guardrail were damaged and temporary guardrails have been put into place.
